Greetings from Germany! I am happy to share with you the newest edition of "Profil World" - our newsletter filled with information about clinical research in diabetes and obesity.

EASD Annual Meeting - Profil's contributions to the scientific sessions

profilLast week our team joined an exciting and busy 54th EASD Annual Meeting in Berlin. Profil contributed 7 posters and 4 oral presentations to the scientific sessions. The main topics are nasal glucagon, ultra rapid insulins (Ultra rapid lispro (URLi); BioChaperone Lispro), mixed insulin (BioChaperone Combo) and dual GLP-1/Glucagon receptor agonist (MEDI0382). Read more about those orals and posters presenting results from clinical trails Profil had been involved in. 

EU-funded R&D partnerships in healthy living and active ageing

Metabolic actions of GLP- 1 and GCG receptor agonists on key organsA further hope in treatment of diabetes mellitus typ 2 by targeting the incretin/glucagon system. Profil recently published a study on artificial pancreas systems for people with type 2 diabetes

0090_RGB__People with diabetes perceive a high need for the availability of Artificial Pancreas systems (APS) for automated insulin delivery in diabetes care. Merging the best of different innovation cultures may contribute to a wider and more rapid implementation of user-centered APS in diabetes care. Read our publication on artificial pancreas systems for people with type 2 diabetes.
