I am very proud to present the Profil Science Report 2016. As in the last years, our Science Report impressively documents the sound scientific expertise of Profil Germany.
With 45 scientific publications (cumulated impact factor of > 187) and more than 100 scientific
presentations at international meetings in 2016 alone, our publication record at Profil Germany can easily
compete with that of many academic institutions.
The extensive list of our publications in 2016 strengthens the scientific reputation of Profil
Germany. We have a proven track record for outstanding presentations of clinical trial results
to both the scientific and the business world as well as to boards and regulatory bodies. We
are convinced that scientific (in combination with regulatory) expertise is key for optimally
designing and conducting clinical studies, and therefore is the basis for the high client
satisfaction that we are so proud of.
In addition, we are much obliged to the many people with type 1 or type 2 diabetes that
participate in our studies and thereby make a huge contribution to the development of better
drugs and devices for the treatment of diabetes and obesity. In order to get the best possible
result from their efforts, we are committed to making the results of our studies available to the
scientific community.
We look very much forward to interacting with patients, physicians, scientists and people from
industry to continue and further expand our scientific activities in the next couple of years. We
will not relent in our efforts to serve our customers' needs even better and to make our small
contribution for a better life of people with diabetes all over the world.
