On February 24, Profil will host the first online seminar of 2016
Due to the great success of our online seminar series that we started in 2015, we have decided to continue this series also in the new year. We have been very surprised by how positively the series has been perceived and how well accepted the sessions are. With growing numbers of participants with every session, it is becoming important to register early to ensure a free spot. For this year we have some very nice ideas and look forward to be hosting some of the online seminars to be presented by external key opinion leaders in the field. So, also look out for our online seminars in the coming months. If you want to make sure not to miss any, sign up for the regular blog update on the right side of this page.
To start the year, we will present the online seminar titled: "Developing an artificial pancreas", co-presented by our own Dr. Eric Zijlstra and Dr. Carsten Bensch. Both have many years of experience in conducting clinical trials for various diabetes devices and through the AP@home project Carsten has first-hand experience in the development of an artifical pancreas. Further, Carsten is the developer of our much acclaimed next generation automated glucose clamp device. As the artificial pancreas is considered the holy grail of diabetes technology, we are very happy to present this session. With the recent announcement of the longest closed loop clinical study to take off, the topic is as hot as ever and we expect many to sign up for the session.
So, if you want to learn more about this upcoming session, then register today for the online seminar on November 24 at 04:00pm CET, 10:00am EST, 7am PST.
