FibroScan® screening of potential trial participants at Profil
Profil uses the FibroScan® medical device (Echosens, Paris) for a non-invasive and cost-effective staging of liver fibrosis and liver fat. Transient elastography with controlled attenuation parameter is used to screen potential trial participants for the presence of liver fat and stiffness. Read more about this technology.

D4kids: Profil joined a new pan-European Artificial Pancreas initiative
Profil is part of the new Diabeloop for children (D4kids) pan-European consortium for functionally enhancing an Artificial Pancreas (AP) system to better serve the needs and requirements of children with type 1 diabetes and their families. Read about the project and its ambition in our blog post.
Profil recently published a study on ultra-rapid BioChaperone Lispro
Read our publication on the safety and efficacy of BioChaperone Lispo, an ultra-rapid formulation of insulin lispro in people with type 1 diabetes. BioChaperone Lispro improves postprandial blood glucose vs insulin lispro when administered at mealtime.
