Another year has passed and the Profil blog has seen many interesting articles through the last months. We have posted about events, conferences, webinars, and interesting scientific topics for clinical diabetes researchers.
We have made a short evaluation to see which blog posts were the most interesting in 2019: The most popular blog post this year deals with the ideal basal insulin. In this blog post we give an overview on what further improvements in basal insulin therapy can be expected in the future. Also we give an answer on what exactly the ideal basal insulin does look like. Our readers were also interested in our blog post on lipohypertrophy and its new insights. Also our blog post Beer or wine or both – and if both, in which order?, that deals with a recent study by scientists from the University of Witten/Herdecke and the University of Cambridge investigating the impact of the combination and order of beer and wine on hangover severity, got many readers. We are very pleased that the Profil blog has found so many readers again this year and we will continue to bring the most interesting topics to you also in 2020.
We also inform you about events and conferences our experts are attending and also their outcomes on a regular basis. Our blog on news in the treatment of Type 2 diabetes presented at EASD 2019 reached a lot of attention this year. We will continue informing you about those conferences. The next upcoming event is Biotech Showcase and will take place in San Francisco, USA on January 13-15, 2020. If you would like to arrange a meeting with us please fill out our meeting request form.
Profil wishes you happy holidays and a wonderful and successful new year 2020.
